New Delhi, 20 January 2014: Adding more spirit to the game, Hockey India today announced the commencement of ticket sales for the semi-finals and finals of upcoming Hero Hockey India League 2014.  The semi finals and final match are scheduled to be played on 22 and 23 February 2014 at Ranchi and tickets are now available at very low prices. The price for General ticket and VIP seating are Rs. 100 and Rs. 200 respectively. These rates are applicable for the North Stand (Block B), East Stand (Block C & D) while the tickets for West Stand – Upper floor are being sold for Rs.200/- for the semi-finals and Rs.300/- for the finals. Each ticket entails the spectator to witness the entire day’s matches being played by the 6 participating teams on that particular date.

Speaking on the prices of the tickets, Dr. Narinder Batra, Chairman Hockey India League said “HHIL 2014 is being organized with a motto to promote hockey across levels and to take the excitement of all Hockey fans to the next level. So, we decided to keep it at a low price enabling the crowd to enjoy the league and cheer for their states.”

The month long tournament will feature 6 teams who will fight to win the title and bring glory to their home state. The first match of the tournament will be played in Mohali on January 25 between Jaypee Punjab Warriors and Delhi Wave Riders.
