First times in the second season of HHIL 2014 Delhi Waveriders and Dabur Mumbai Magician will be playing against each other
6 February 2014, New Delhi: The Hockey lovers of Delhi will witness an exciting match between Delhi Waveriders and Dabur Mumbai Magicians today at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi. This is the first time in the second season of Hero Hockey League that Delhi Waveriders and Dabur Mumbai Magician will be playing against each other. Backed by huge fans support and rigorous training sessions, both the teams are gearing up to give tough competition to each other. If Delhi Waveriders will try to retain its position in the top three teams in points table, Dabur Mumbai Magicians on the other hand will be looking at cashing a chance to go above Kalinga Lancers in the points table.
Dabur Mumbai Magicians missed few chances to capitalize into success in their last match against Defending Champions Ranchi Rhinos, but the team is focusing on implementing strategies with certain approach. Dabur Mumbai Magicians have played draw against Ranchi Rhinos in their last match.
Speaking on the preparations Mr. Cedric D’Souza, Head Coach, Delhi Waveriders said “Dabur Mumbai Magicians have played very well in their last game and as the tournament is progressing, every team is becoming tough and getting better. The game between Delhi Waveriders and Dabur Mumbai Magicians will be a tough for both the teams and best team will win it.”
Speaking on the preparations Head Coach of Dabur Mumbai Magicians Mr. M K Kaushik said “Our team is fully motivated after giving good performance against Ranchi Rhinos in the last game and we will try to perform better against Delhi Waveriders in our next game. Delhi Waveriders is the strong team in the tournament with a balanced midfield and defence and it’s not easy to beat them but if our team will play as per the plans and give their best, I am sure we will win.”
